The holistic nature of India\u2019s traditional knowledge is reflected in the Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS), which is based on the idea that \u201cGyan Vigyan Vimuktaye\u201d (knowledge liberates) and covers a broad range of traditional knowledge domains from ancient India including science, art, philosophy, health, geography, and economics. In order to comprehend and make use of the holistic nature of Indian knowledge, the IKS Cell promotes research in a variety of fields.
