The journal offers a double-blind review to ensure a quality publication. The following steps are followed in the peer review process;
- A new submission is considered in the journal. An author can send their original unpublished work to the email of editor in chief of the journalchief.editor_pdu@gmail.com.
- The submission is directed to the concerned Section Editor by the Editor-in-Chief.
- The Section Editor performs an initial check to ensure the correct submission. If there is any fault in the submission process such as chronology of authors, authors’ details, or format then the submission is rejected and sent back to the author to correct and resubmit.
- If the Section Editor is satisfied with the submission then the paper is sent to two reviewers for blind review.
- The reviewer sends back the feedback in a prescribed format within 60 days.
- If the reviewer’s feedback is satisfactory then the paper is accepted and the paper is sent to the Section Editor. The Section Editor sent the paper to the Paper Setter and with the approval of the Editor-in-Chief, the paper is sent for publication.
- If the reviewer’s feedback is not satisfactory then the paper is sent back to the author for the first revision. If the first revision is satisfactory then the paper is accepted for publication. If the first revision is not satisfactory then the paper is sent to the author for second revision. The process can continue till it is accepted for publication subject to the consent of the Reviewer and Section Editor. Otherwise, the Section Editor can Reject the paper after an unsatisfied second revision.
- If the paper is accepted then the author(s) must sign the document of copyright agreement and self-declaration of plagiarism (to declare that, the author takes full responsibility regarding the percentage of plagiarism in the manuscript and if the plagiarism is more than 10% then journal holds no responsibility and the author(s) holds solely responsible for producing a plagiarized work for publication). If the author(s) does not want to sign the self-declaration then it is mandatory to submit a plagiarism report from an authentic plagiarism checker such as Turnitin, Urkund,DrillBit, etc.to justify that total plagiarism is less than or equal to 10%, within 10 days before the publication of an issue.
