Internal Quality Assurance Cell

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of PDUGMC College serves as a key institutional mechanism for maintaining, monitoring, and continuously improving the quality of academic and administrative activities. It plays an important role in strengthening the overall functioning of the institution and in creating an effective, learner-centred, and supportive educational environment. Through systematic planning, assessment, and review, the IQAC contributes to the continuous enhancement of institutional standards and academic excellence.

The IQAC undertakes a wide range of activities related to academic planning, curriculum implementation, faculty development, research and innovation, student support, and feedback systems. It facilitates various academic and administrative initiatives and regularly reviews the effectiveness of teaching-learning processes. The Cell also encourages the adoption of appropriate quality-enhancement practices to ensure that educational activities remain responsive to the changing needs of students and society.

An important responsibility of the IQAC is to promote a culture of quality, transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement within the institution. Reports, guidelines, records, and other relevant information are prepared and made available to stakeholders through appropriate institutional channels. By involving students, teachers, administrative staff, and other stakeholders in quality-enhancement activities, the IQAC promotes collective responsibility towards institutional development and academic excellence.
