The career counselling cell is a vital part of all higher educational institutions, which primarily serves to inform students about various professional placements and job opportunities. This cell was specifically formed in our institution to connect the work world and locate career opportunities in the highly competitive emerging job world. Our institution organises various programmes from time to time to improve and foster an attitude toward different careers and professions. This cell aids in the comprehension of identifying one’s own skills and aptitude for appropriate professions and jobs in various sectors. 

Vision of the cell

To groom students with competencies and employability skills to become part of companies, the government and private organizations.

Aims and Objectives of the Cell

1. To guide students to choose right career and to give knowledge, skill and aptitude and meet the man power requirements of the government and private organization.
2. To assist students to develop/clarify their academic and career interests, and their short and long-term goals through individual counseling and group sessions.
3. To provide resources and activities to facilitate the career planning process.
4. To act as a link between students, alumni and the employment community.
5. To assist students in obtaining placement in reputed companies and the government organizations.

Functions of Cell

1. Gathering information about jobs and employment opportunities.
2. Notifying the students about pre-placement activities and job opportunities
3. Conducting career guidance sessions.
4. Getting sharing information from career and guidance cell.
5. Conducting training programmes.
6. Gathering information about jobs and relevant recruitment advertisements.
