NCC UNIT

It is the Indian military cadet corps wing of the Indian armed forces. It offers training to the students of schools and colleges. In fact, it not only creates soldiers for the nation but also tries to develop leadership skills in the youth. The role of NCC in instilling the value of character, discipline and hard work amongst the students and in shaping them into dynamic and good citizen of the nation had been well recognized. In order to develop the spirit of national unity and integrity amongst the rural students, the college administration has initiated the process of introducing NCC Unit in the college.

AIMS OF NCC:

• To create human resources of organised, trained and motivated youth,
• To provide leadership in all walks of the life and be always available for the service of the nation,
• To provide a suitable environment to motivate the youth to take up a career in the Armed Forces,
• To develop character, comradeship, discipline, secular outlook, spirit of adventure and ideals of selfless service amongst the youth of the country.

MOTTO OF NCC:

The motto of NCC is “UNITY and DISCIPLINE”.

EMBLEM OF NCC:

The emblem of NCC consists of 3 colours; red, dark blue and light blue. These colours represent the Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force respectively. The 17 lotuses indicate the 17 Directorates of the country.
