SC, ST and OBC Cell

The SC, ST, and OBC Cell at PDU Govt Model College, Katlicherra, is committed to ensuring the welfare and academic progress of students from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC). The primary objective of the cell is to provide a supportive and inclusive environment that addresses the unique needs and challenges faced by students from these marginalized communities. The cell plays a crucial role in ensuring the effective implementation of government policies related to reservations, scholarships, and financial assistance for SC, ST, and OBC students. It also works towards creating awareness about the rights and entitlements of students from these communities, helping them access various schemes and benefits available to them. In addition to facilitating academic support, the cell also focuses on organizing workshops, seminars, and awareness programs to promote social justice, equality, and empowerment.
