GOVERNING BODY

The Governing Body of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Government Model College (PDUGMC), Katlicherra, provides leadership and guidance for the academic, administrative, and overall development of the institution. Comprising representatives from academia, teaching and non-teaching staff, guardians, and the wider community, the Governing Body plays an important role in ensuring that the institution functions in accordance with its academic objectives, institutional values, and the broader goals of higher education.

The Governing Body provides strategic direction for the continued growth and development of the college. It considers matters relating to academic planning, institutional administration, infrastructure, student welfare, resource management, and the effective implementation of various educational initiatives. Through collective deliberation and responsible decision-making, the Body seeks to strengthen the academic environment and ensure that the available resources are utilised effectively for the benefit of students and the institution.

A major responsibility of the Governing Body is to support the continuous improvement of the quality of education provided by PDUGMC. It encourages academic excellence, professional development, innovation, research-oriented activities, and meaningful engagement with the community.
