Eco Club

The Eco Club of PDU Govt Model College, Katlicherra, is dedicated to creating environmental awareness and encouraging students to become responsible stewards of nature. The Club promotes a deeper understanding of environmental challenges and inspires the college community to adopt sustainable practices for the protection and conservation of natural resources.

Through various educational and practical initiatives, the Eco Club encourages students to participate actively in environmental conservation, waste management, tree plantation, biodiversity protection, and other sustainability-related activities. Awareness campaigns, clean-up drives, workshops, and interactive programmes are organized to educate students about important issues such as climate change, water conservation, renewable energy, and responsible consumption.

The Club also seeks to build meaningful partnerships with local environmental organizations, government agencies, educational institutions, and other community stakeholders. Activities such as tree plantation programmes, eco-fairs, recycling initiatives, and awareness drives provide students with valuable opportunities for hands-on learning, teamwork, and meaningful community participation.

The Eco Club further encourages students to incorporate environmentally responsible practices into their academic and extracurricular activities. By nurturing an eco-conscious attitude and promoting sustainable lifestyles, the Club strives to develop a culture of environmental responsibility throughout the college community.

The Eco Club of PDU Govt Model College, Katlicherra, therefore plays an important role in inspiring young minds to understand, respect, and protect the environment. Through continuous awareness, participation, and collective action, the Club aims to contribute towards a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future for present and future generations.
